Recreation in Nevada
There is much to do and see in Nevada! Nevada is filled with places like Mount Charleston near Las Vegas, where you can ski in the winter and hike in the summer, and the magnificent Ruby Mountains near Elko, home of some of the nation’s best heli-skiing. In fact, when it comes to recreation there isn’t much you won’t find in Nevada. If you’re seeking thrills, you can try rock climbing at Red Rock Canyon, just outside Las Vegas, considered one of the top rock climbing locations in the U.S. If you’re looking for a golf vacation, Nevada boasts more than 100 courses in every price range. And, of course, when it comes to hospitality, Nevada has made it an art form.
