International students find a welcome environment in which to study. More than 700 students from 80 different countries call Pima Community College their second home. International students appreciate the exceptional faculty of the college and the smaller class sizes. An International Student Services Office provides each student with a personal academic advisor to assure that you get the support you want for accomplishing your educational goals.

Most international students take advantage of transfer agreements to Arizona's large and prominent universities such as the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona State University less than two hours away in Phoenix or Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Because of the ease of transfer to these universities, many international students complete the first two full years of their baccalaureate program at Pima. Pima has strong academic faculty who teach the English, math, science, business, pre-engineering or other courses you need to have a firm foundation for your upper division coursework at the university of your choice.
