International School of Skin and Nailcare (ISSN) Adds Massage Therapy School
Classes have started at ISSN for the Massage Therapy Program. This accredited program offers all the benefits as our National recognized Esthetician and Nail Technician programs, as well as our Instructor programs. Career Training
How do people get trained to work with luxury spas, resorts, salons, TV, doctors or even start their own business? From message therapy to facials, manicures to nail art, all courses are taught at the renowned ISSN. The school's objectives are to prepare students for these careers and to develop within them a sense of responsibility and loyalty to their coworkers, employees or employers. ISSN is nationally accredited and approved by various boards to include: The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology, Georgia Board of Massage Therapy, Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission, Approved for Veteran Training, Vocation Rehabilitation, SEVIS-immigration and naturalization to train students from other countries and approved by several large corporations for training. In-house financing with no interest is available, or you may apply for a student loan and/or the Pell Grant if you qualify for these programs.
Day Spa Services
The School also has a clinic floor open to the public where we provide services at school prices. These services include facials, body wraps, waxing, make-up, microdermabrasion, LED, Micro-Current, cellulite and other skin care services as well as a full range of nail care services and massage therapy. All work is performed by students and is supervised by licensed instructors.
Esthetician & Skin Care School Program
The study of skin care, or esthetics, involves the science of skin care, body care, hair removal and makeup. The ISSN program is based on European skin care traditions and American technology. Our program prepares the student not only for State Board licensing requirements, but also for the professionalism needed in today’s skin care work environment.
Day Program: 1000 hours (40 weeks)
Evening Program: 1000 hours (56 weeks)
Massage Therapy Program
The study of massage therapy involves the science of the body parts and systems, massage modalities and techniques, safety procedures, and business practices. This program provides the marketable skills and knowledge needed to be a successful practicing massage therapist. The program provides the training needed to be eligible to take the National Massage Certification Exam and or the Georgia Massage Therapy Board exam. Graduates will possess the skills to meet the needs of the employment market for entry-level massage therapists.
Day Program: 675 hours (27 weeks)
Evening Program: 675 hours (38 weeks)
Nailcare & Nail Technician School Program
As the cosmetology industry has recently moved towards specialization, one of the biggest areas of growth is in the area of nail care. This growth has created the need for properly trained and licensed nail technicians. Our program provides the student with more than the required credit hours in training in preparation for the Board Licensing as a nail technician.
Day Program: 600 hours (21 weeks)
Evening Program: 600 hours (34 weeks)

Curriculum:
- Separate certifications in miocrodermabrasion, light emitting diodes, micro current systems, cellulite reduction systems in addition to other esthetician training
- Several product lines are taught at ISSN to better prepare our Graduate for immediate employment. Other schools mostly use one product line.
- Between 1100-1500 spa clients each month which equals maximum hands-on training for the student. Hands-on training offered everyday.

- Introductory training n anti-aging sciences, advanced aromatherapy and acupressure
- Advanced make up training includes intro to bridal/fashion, intro to mature make up, intro to runway and fantasy make up in addition to basic make up training.
